Growth · 6 steps

Weekly newsletter draft from your blog posts

Every Friday it collects the new posts from your blog's RSS feed, writes a short, readable email newsletter and prepares it as an issue for your newsletter list; it goes to your subscribers once you approve it on the Approvals page. During setup, enter your list id in the "newsletterListId" variable.

Required integrations

No extra account is required.

Budget cap: At most $1 per run

What this template does

This Growth template has 6 steps and is copied into your own project in one click; you then change the copy in the editor as you like.

You don't need to connect any extra account; the template runs on OrqLabs' own nodes. The budget cap is $1 per run; when the cap is reached, the remaining steps don't run.

When it runs

Schedule: Every Friday at 10:00 (Europe/Istanbul). The workflow starts on its own at these times; change the days and time in the trigger's cron field (0 10 * * 5).

How it works

The nodes in run order. You can edit every node in the editor and add your own.
  1. 01

    Every Friday at 10:00

    Schedule

Starts the workflow automatically at the times you set; e.g. to create content every morning at 09:00.

  2. 02

    RSS / news feed

Fetches new articles from a news site's or blog's RSS feed; e.g. to turn industry news into post ideas.

  3. 03

    Code (JavaScript)

Runs JavaScript over the items; e.g. sorting, grouping or totals. Requires coding skills.

  4. 04

    Generate text

Has the AI write text from your instructions in a single step, e.g. a short reply draft for every new comment.

  5. 05

    Send newsletter

Builds a newsletter from the previous step's text and sends it to a list – by default it waits for your approval first. E.g. turn the week's blog posts into a newsletter draft.

  6. 06

    Notify team

Sends your project team an in-app notification, email, Slack or Telegram message; e.g. when a hot lead comes in.

How to customise it

  • Fill in the newsletterListId variable under Settings → Variables for your business; the template ships with a placeholder value.
  • Change when it runs in the trigger's cron field (currently 0 10 * * 5); the editor previews the next runs.
  • If you want to check things before they go out, add a Request approval node before the step that sends something out.
  • Change the per-run budget cap ($1) under Settings; with an economy model you can lower the cap too.
  • Before activating it, test the workflow with Test run; the run panel shows every step's input and output.

Frequently asked questions

Does the workflow wait for my approval?

This template has no approval step; once activated, the steps run automatically. You can add a Request approval node in the editor wherever you want to check things first.

How much does a run cost?

The template comes with a budget cap of $1 per run; when the cap is reached, the remaining steps don't run. The real cost depends on the model you choose and the number of items; you change the cap under Settings.

Can I use the same template for several brands?

Yes. Use this template creates an independent copy every time; pick a different project and the copy runs with that brand's accounts.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The template comes with ready-made nodes and you change each node's settings in a form in the editor. Expressions that pass data between steps and the code node are only for advanced changes.
