Google Calendar integration: book Meet calls automatically
Connect your Google account's primary calendar. Let a workflow set up a Meet call and send the invitation for leads who fill in a form or reply – and let every new event on your calendar start a workflow.

What it does in OrqLabs
The Google Calendar node has two operations. Create event creates an event on your primary calendar from a title, start (ISO date-time, or a date for all-day), duration or end, time zone, description, location and attendee e-mails; it can add a Google Meet link and send invitations to all attendees, only to those outside your domain, or to nobody. The meetLink in its output can go straight into the next e-mail or WhatsApp message.
List events returns the events in a time window (the next 7 days by default) ordered by start time, with recurring events expanded; a search text filters titles, descriptions and attendees. The GOOGLE_CALENDAR · New event option of the Integration event trigger starts a workflow when a new event is added to your calendar (checked every 5 minutes); edited or deleted older events don't trigger it.
The connection only asks for calendar events access (calendar.events) – no Gmail, Drive or Analytics permission. Operations that send invitations are not executed in test runs, so nobody gets an invite while you try out your workflow.
What you can automate
Demo call from a form
When a Google Forms or Typeform application comes in, create a Meet event and send the invite plus a thank-you e-mail.
Meeting with a lead who replied
Set up the call for a lead who answered your outreach positively and send the Meet link in the same e-mail thread.
Daily agenda digest
Every morning, list the coming day's events and post a summary to your team in Slack or Teams.
Prep for new events
When a new client meeting lands on your calendar, run an agent that researches the attendee's company and shares the notes.

Requirements
- A Google account (Gmail or Google Workspace); the calendar used is the account's primary calendar.
- Google Meet enabled on the account for Meet links (an admin setting in Workspace).
- On the platform side, a Google OAuth app with the Google Calendar API enabled.
Requested permissions

Good to know
- Only the account's primary calendar is used; shared or secondary calendars can't be picked.
- New events are checked every 5 minutes, not instantly.
- Calendar access is one of Google's sensitive scopes, so for public use the platform's Google app must be verified. Details: Google Calendar guide.
Frequently asked questions
Can events get a Google Meet link?
Yes. "Add Google Meet link" is on by default in Create event, and the link comes back in the meetLink output field.
Do attendees get an invitation e-mail?
You choose: all attendees, only those outside your domain, or nobody. In test runs the event isn't created and no invitation is sent.
How do I set the time zone?
Write the start with an offset (+03:00) or fill the Time zone field with a value such as Europe/Istanbul. Without either, your calendar's time zone is used.
