B2B lead generation: find, score and contact prospects with AI agents

With OrqLabs as your lead generation tool, the Lead Researcher finds companies and decision makers that match your ideal customer profile, the Lead Qualifier scores them from 0 to 100, you approve the shortlist, and the Outreach Agent sends a personalized first message and follow-ups.

The challenge

  • List building eats selling time

Searching directories, LinkedIn and websites company by company, finding contact details and copying them into a spreadsheet turns your sales team's week into research instead of conversations.

  • Bought lists are cold and stale

Purchased data lists often come with records that don't fit your profile or are out of date, and nobody can say why a given contact is on the list.

  • No clear priority

Without a shared scoring rubric every lead looks the same; hot opportunities get lost in the middle of the list while time goes to companies that aren't ready.

  • Personalization doesn't scale

Opening every message with an observation specific to that company is hard work, while one-size-fits-all templates get no replies and hurt your sender reputation.

How OrqLabs handles it

  • From profile to search plan

The Lead Researcher turns your ideal customer profile (industry, region, company size, signals, decision maker) into concrete searches across directories, industry lists and job boards, reads candidate websites to confirm the fit, and skips companies already on your Leads list.

  • Enrichment

Company size, location and LinkedIn page come from the company enrichment tool, and work emails from Hunter or Apollo; low-confidence emails are flagged in the lead's notes. Only contact details that businesses publish on their own public pages are stored.

  • A 0–100 score with reasons

The researcher gives each lead an initial fit score and rationale. The Lead Qualifier then re-scores leads on ICP fit, budget capacity, evidence of need, reachability of the decision maker and timing; leads above the threshold (70 by default) become Qualified, clear misfits Disqualified, and the middle band stays in Researching.

  • An approved shortlist

The qualifier builds a shortlist of the best leads and notifies you. In the ready-made template every qualified lead creates an approval request with its score and reasoning – only leads you approve are contacted.

  • Personalized first touch and follow-ups

The Outreach Agent writes a message that opens with an observation specific to the lead, sends it by email, WhatsApp, Telegram or SMS within a daily send limit and schedules follow-ups; a scheduled follow-up is not sent once the lead replies. For LinkedIn it prepares drafts.

Example flow

  1. A Schedule trigger starts the workflow every Monday at 09:00.

  2. The Lead Researcher finds 20 companies matching the ideal customer profile stored in a workflow variable, enriches them and saves them with a fit score.

  3. The Lead Qualifier re-scores the leads from 0 to 100; 70 and above become Qualified.

  4. Request approval puts each qualified lead on the Approvals page with its score and reasoning.

  5. For the leads you approve, the Outreach Agent sends a personalized email and schedules two follow-ups (daily limit 30).

  6. Create report saves the weekly lead report under Reports; add Sync to CRM / Sheet to push leads to HubSpot or Google Sheets.

Things to keep in mind

  • Compliance and consent

Research relies only on business information that is publicly available; nothing is collected from personal social accounts. Say where you found the details and how to opt out in the first message. First contact on WhatsApp requires an approved template and the recipient's opt-in, and local rules for commercial messages (such as GDPR or Turkey's İYS) still apply.

  • Accounts to connect

We recommend Serper or Tavily for web search and Hunter or Apollo for email finding; their credits come from your own accounts. Emails are sent through SMTP or Resend. The ready-made template's per-run budget is USD 8.

  • Sender reputation

If you send from a new domain, start with a low daily limit and raise it gradually, and keep the approval step during the first weeks. Review the score distribution and reasons weekly to sharpen your ideal customer profile.

Frequently asked questions

How does lead scoring work?

Every lead gets a 0–100 score with a written rationale. The qualifier looks at ICP fit, budget capacity, evidence of need, reachability and timing; you set the threshold and any extra criteria.

Which sources are used to find B2B prospects?

Web search (Serper or Tavily) across directories, industry lists, company pages and job boards, plus the candidates' own websites. Emails and company data come from the Hunter or Apollo account you connect.

Are messages sent without my approval?

Not with the ready-made template: only leads you accept in the approval step are contacted. When you use the Outreach Agent on its own, Approve before sending is also on by default.

Can I push leads to my CRM?

Yes. The Sync to CRM / Sheet step sends leads to HubSpot, Google Sheets, Notion or your own system via webhook, and you can export them as CSV from the Leads page.

Will the same company be contacted twice?

The researcher checks existing leads and skips duplicates, and leads are deduplicated by email, phone or website.
