6 steps

Lead research → qualify → outreach

Every Monday the Lead Researcher finds 20 companies that match your ideal customer profile, the Lead Qualifier scores them 0–100 with reasons, and the shortlist comes to you for approval. The Outreach Agent then sends each approved lead a personalized email plus two follow-ups.

Budget cap: At most $8 per run

What this template does

Prospecting eats the first hours of the week for most sales teams: searching lists, opening websites one by one, finding email addresses, writing the first message. This template kicks off that work every Monday morning: the Lead Researcher finds companies that match your ideal customer profile (ICP) and verifies them on their own websites, the Lead Qualifier scores them with reasons, and the shortlist comes to you for approval.

The Outreach Agent sends every approved lead a personalized first email and schedules two follow-ups at +3 and +7 business days. Each message opens with an observation specific to that lead; subject lines are short and bodies run 60–120 words. When a lead replies, its status becomes “Replied” and the remaining follow-ups are skipped.

The template needs Serper (web search) and an email sender (SMTP); connecting Hunter or Apollo improves email finding and company data. The $8 run budget covers the whole chain from research to report. The agent only stores contact details published on business pages and never collects personal phone numbers from private profiles.

Step-by-step flow

The template's nodes in run order. You can edit every node in the editor and add your own.
  1. 01

    Every Monday at 09:00

    Schedule

    Starts the workflow once a week, Monday at 09:00 (Europe/Istanbul), using 0 9 * * 1.

  2. 02

    Lead Researcher

    Lead Researcher

Turns the ideal customer profile in the icp variable into search queries, opens candidates' websites to confirm fit and saves the 20 target leads with a fit score and rationale. It skips companies that are already in your leads; the preferred channels are email and LinkedIn.

  3. 03

    Lead Qualifier

    Lead Qualifier

Scores new and researched leads 0–100 on ICP fit, budget capacity, evidence of need, decision-maker reachability and timing. Leads at 70 or above become “qualified”, clear mismatches are disqualified, and every decision is written to the lead record with its reasons.

  4. 04

    Review shortlist

    Request approval

Qualified leads land on the Approvals page with their scores and reasons, and the run waits for your decision. Only the “approved” branch is connected to the Outreach Agent; if you reject, no one is contacted in this run.

    • if approved → Outreach Agent
  5. 05

    Outreach Agent

    Outreach Agent

Sends each qualified lead a personalized first email built around the offer in the offer variable and schedules two follow-ups. It sends at most 30 messages a day and moves contacted leads to “Contacted”.

  6. 06

    Weekly lead report

    Create report

Saves the Lead Qualifier's summary (shortlist, qualified and disqualified leads, reasons) as a “Lead list” report on the Reports page.

How to customise it

  • Fill in icp (ideal customer profile) and offer (your offer) under Settings → Variables; the template ships with placeholder text. Describe the ICP with industry, region, company size and one buying signal.
  • To fill in missing emails and company data, add an Enrich lead node (Hunter or Apollo) between the Researcher and the Qualifier; enrich only what's missing to save credits.
  • To narrow the shortlist, put a Filter node ({{ $json.score >= 85 }}) in front of the approval step.
  • To push qualified leads to your CRM, use Sync to CRM / Sheet in a separate workflow started by the “lead qualified” Platform event (HubSpot, Google Sheets, Notion or a webhook).
  • To reach leads on WhatsApp, set the Outreach Agent's channel to whatsapp; first contact requires a Meta-approved template and the recipient's prior opt-in.

Frequently asked questions

Where does it find email addresses?

From public business sources such as the company website, its LinkedIn company page and directories; if Hunter or Apollo is connected, it uses them to find emails. Low-confidence addresses are flagged in the lead's notes.

Will emails go out without my approval?

No. The Outreach Agent only sits on the approval step's “approved” branch. If you want to see every message, turn on Approve before sending on the agent; it then only produces drafts.

Do leads who reply still get follow-ups?

No. When a reply arrives the lead becomes “Replied” and pending follow-ups are skipped. For email, this requires your mailbox's incoming messages to be forwarded to OrqLabs.

How many emails does it send per day?

The default daily limit is 30 messages, adjustable on the Outreach Agent node. Starting low on a new domain and ramping up gradually protects your sender reputation.

Do I need consent to email businesses?

It depends on the country. In Turkey, commercial messages to merchants don't need prior consent but must offer an opt-out and identify the sender; in the EU, GDPR applies. Check your own situation with legal counsel.
