Booking & local business · 12 steps

Offer freed-up slots to the waitlist

When a Cal.com booking is cancelled, offers the freed slot on WhatsApp to the first 3 matching people on your waitlist. The first one to reply "EVET" (yes) gets the booking link, is removed from the list and your team is notified; later replies are told the slot is taken.

Messages it sends

Informational messages

Sends order, shipping, appointment or payment updates; no İYS consent is needed, but the text must not contain offers or promotion.

Budget cap: At most $0.1 per run

What this template does

This Booking & local business template has 12 steps and is copied into your own project in one click; you then change the copy in the editor as you like. Who it's for: local businesses, beauty & wellness, sports & fitness and health.

Accounts you need to connect: Cal.com and WhatsApp Business (Cloud API). The budget cap is $0.1 per run; when the cap is reached, the remaining steps don't run.

When it runs

The workflow starts when Booking cancelled happens in your Cal.com account. Cal.com delivers the event instantly by webhook; the webhook subscription is created automatically when you connect the account. Only events that meet the template's condition start the workflow; you can change the condition in the panel.

How it works

How to customise it

  • Fill in the offerCount and bookingUrl variables under Settings → Variables for your business; the template ships with placeholder values.
  • If you want to check things before they go out, add a Request approval node before the step that sends something out.
  • Change the per-run budget cap ($0.1) under Settings; with an economy model you can lower the cap too.
  • Before activating it, test the workflow with Test run; the run panel shows every step's input and output.

Frequently asked questions

Which booking tools does it work with?

The template is built on Cal.com. You can also take booking events from Calendly and Google Calendar: change the trigger's account and event, then check the field names in the next nodes.

Do these messages need İYS consent?

No. Informational messages such as order, shipping, appointment or payment updates are not commercial messages and need no consent. If you add an offer, a discount code or promotion to the text, it becomes a commercial message and needs İYS consent.

Does the workflow wait for my approval?

This template has no approval step; once activated, the steps run automatically. You can add a Request approval node in the editor wherever you want to check things first.

How much does a run cost?

The template comes with a budget cap of $0.1 per run; when the cap is reached, the remaining steps don't run. The real cost depends on the model you choose and the number of items; you change the cap under Settings.

Can I use the template before connecting the accounts?

Yes. The workflow is still created; the affected node shows a warning during validation, and the warning disappears once you connect the account.
