What it does in OrqLabs
The Sync to CRM node takes Salesforce as a target: it looks up the newest unconverted Lead with the lead's email, updates it if found and creates a new Lead otherwise. Salesforce's required fields (last name, company) are filled from the email on new records only – existing values are never overwritten. Set the target to Contact to run the same logic on Contacts, and change the field mapping with Field mapping.
The Salesforce node offers four actions: create a Lead, update a Lead's status, create a Task on a Lead or Contact, and run a read-only SOQL query. A typical setup adds the Salesforce sync to the end of the Research → qualify → reach out flow, or opens a task for the sales team once a lead replies.
What you can automate
Qualified leads as Salesforce Leads
Leads that pass the Lead Qualifier's threshold go to Salesforce through the Sync to CRM node; a Lead with the same email is updated.
Status update on reply
When a lead replies, a workflow changes the Lead status (e.g.
Working - Contacted).Tasks for the sales team
Create task opens a call or follow-up task with a due date on the lead's Lead or Contact record.
Reports with SOQL
A weekly workflow pulls the last 7 days of Leads with SOQL and sends a summary to Slack or email.
Nodes that use this integration
In the workflow editor these nodes run with your Salesforce account.
Sync to CRM / Sheet
Pushes leads to HubSpot, Google Sheets, Notion or your own system, e.g. adding qualified leads to your sales team's spreadsheet.

Good to know
- Sandbox orgs (test.salesforce.com) aren't supported; production and Developer Edition orgs can connect.
- Sync is one-way: changes made in Salesforce aren't read back into OrqLabs. Org-specific required fields have to be filled through Field mapping.
Frequently asked questions
Does syncing the same lead twice create duplicates?
No. The sync first looks for an unconverted Lead with the same email and updates it; a new Lead is created only when none is found.
Can I fill custom fields?
Yes. Use API names (e.g. Custom_Field__c) in Field mapping, or send any field through the Extra fields JSON of Create lead.
Can the SOQL action change records?
No. SOQL is read-only; the action rejects anything other than SELECT and caps results at 2,000 records.
