6 steps
Daily social media content pipeline
Every weekday at 8:00 the Content Creator writes one post each for X, LinkedIn and Instagram based on your strategy document and generates the image. Once you approve, the Social Publisher schedules each post for the slot your past engagement data favors.

What this template does
Writing separate copy for three platforms, preparing visuals and picking a posting time every day eats a surprising share of a small team's week. This template splits the job into a six-node chain: a schedule starts the Content Creator, an image is generated for each post, the posts come to you for approval, the Social Publisher schedules the approved ones and the team is notified about rejected ones.
Before writing, the Content Creator reads your project's brand voice, target audience and the content pillars in your strategy document, and it checks your posts from the last 28–30 days so it doesn't repeat an angle. Every post is validated against the platform's character and hashtag limits; a post that breaks a limit is fixed before it is saved as a draft.
The publishing rule is simple: nothing goes out that you haven't approved. Because the approval step lives in the workflow, Approve before publishing is switched off on the Social Publisher, so you are never asked twice for the same post. The run budget is capped at $3; if the cap is reached, the remaining nodes don't run and the run stops with an error.
Step-by-step flow
- 01
Weekdays at 08:00
ScheduleThe Schedule trigger runs Monday to Friday at 08:00 (Europe/Istanbul) using the cron expression
0 8 * * 1-5. Change the days or time in the cron field; the editor previews the next three runs. Writes one post each for X, LinkedIn and Instagram based on the content pillars in your project strategy and adds an image prompt to each. The posts are saved to the content calendar as drafts and flow to the next steps as separate items.
- 03
Generate image
Generate imageTurns each post's image prompt into a 1024×1024 image with OpenAI's image model and attaches it to the post. A post without an image prompt passes through unchanged.
- 04
Approve post
Request approvalThe run pauses here and the posts appear on the Approvals page, where you can edit the copy before approving. Approval continues on the “approved” branch to the Social Publisher, rejection on the “rejected” branch to the notification; with no decision within 72 hours the item is rejected automatically.
- if approved → Social Publisher
- if rejected → Notify about rejection
Schedules the approved posts in “schedule” mode at the best times derived from your recent engagement data, falling back to weekdays 09:00, 12:30 or 18:00 when there is no history. It never posts to the same platform within three hours and skips an Instagram post without an image, reporting the reason.

Notify about rejection
Notify teamSends the rejected post's copy to the team as an in-app notification titled “Post rejected”. The decision stays on record and you can rework the content later.
How to customise it
- Trim the platform list to the accounts you have connected; if you don't use Instagram you can disable the Generate image node (a disabled node passes items through unchanged).
- For news-driven content, add RSS / news feed and Remove duplicates between the trigger and the Content Creator and set the topic to
{{ $json.title }}. - For more output, raise Posts per platform on the Content Creator and increase the workflow budget accordingly.
- Instead of a notification on the rejected branch, add a second Content Creator and include your rejection comment in its task to get a rewrite.
- Once your team trusts the output, you can remove the approval step and connect Generate image straight to the Social Publisher; not recommended in the first weeks.

Frequently asked questions
Will posts go live without my approval?
No. Every run waits at the approval step and the Social Publisher only receives posts from the “approved” branch. If you don't decide within 72 hours, the posts count as rejected.
What do I need for Instagram?
An Instagram professional account (Business or Creator) is enough; no Facebook Page is required. Instagram requires media on every post, which is why the template includes an image generation step.
Do LinkedIn posts go to my company page?
By default they go to the profile of the person who connected the account. Posting as a company page requires the platform's LinkedIn Community Management API app and a Super admin or Content admin role on the page.
Can I use the same template for several brands?
Yes. Use template creates an independent copy each time; pick a different project and that copy uses the brand's own accounts, brand voice and strategy document.
Can I set the posting times myself?
Yes. Put your preferred times in the channels section of the strategy document, or switch the Social Publisher to “publish now”. Times are calculated in the project's timezone.
