Messaging · 7 steps
Webinar registration → welcome + newsletter list
Sends everyone who registers for your Zoom webinar a welcome e-mail with the date and join link, saves them as a lead and, when they have e-mail consent in İYS, adds them to your Kit newsletter list.
Required integrations
Messages it sends
Informational + commercial
Sends both kinds: informational messages need no consent, commercial ones only go to recipients with İYS consent.
Budget cap: At most $0.1 per run
What this template does
This Messaging template has 7 steps and is copied into your own project in one click; you then change the copy in the editor as you like. Who it's for: education, B2B sales, agencies and creators.
Accounts you need to connect: Zoom, Email (SMTP), İYS (İleti Yönetim Sistemi) and Kit (ConvertKit). The budget cap is $0.1 per run; when the cap is reached, the remaining steps don't run.
When it runs
The workflow starts when New webinar registrant happens in your Zoom account. Zoom delivers the event instantly by webhook. Only events that meet the template's condition start the workflow; you can change the condition in the panel.
How it works
- 01
Zoom · New webinar registrant
Integration eventStarts the workflow when “New webinar registrant” happens in your Zoom account.
- 02
Create / upsert lead
Creates a lead from incoming data, or updates it if the email or phone already exists, e.g. adding everyone who fills in your web form.
- then → Send email
- then → İYS (İleti Yönetim Sistemi) · Check consent
- 03
Send email
Sends an email to one person from your connected account (SMTP or Resend), e.g. a thank-you email to someone who filled in your form.
- 04
İYS (İleti Yönetim Sistemi) · Check consent
İYS (İleti Yönetim Sistemi): Read a recipient's current consent for a channel from İYS (ONAY / RET, or none when nothing is recorded).
- 05
If
Splits items into two paths by a condition: one if true, the other if not; e.g. a different message for leads scoring over 70.
- if yes → Kit (ConvertKit) · Add / update subscriber
- 06
Kit (ConvertKit) · Add / update subscriber
Kit (ConvertKit): Creates the subscriber (or updates the first name and custom fields of an existing one) and optionally tags it.
- 07
Update lead
Changes an existing lead's status, score, tags or notes, e.g. marking a lead as Replied once they answer your message.
Setup notes
- Account choices, message template names and consent rules for this template are covered step by step in the setup guide (in Turkish).
How to customise it
- Fill in the
kitNewsletterTagIdvariable under Settings → Variables for your business; the template ships with a placeholder value. - If you want to check things before they go out, add a Request approval node before the step that sends something out.
- Change the per-run budget cap ($0.1) under Settings; with an economy model you can lower the cap too.
- Before activating it, test the workflow with Test run; the run panel shows every step's input and output.
Frequently asked questions
Which messaging channels does it work with?
The inbox and the chatbot work with conversations from these channels once they are connected to your project: WhatsApp Business (Cloud API), Telegram Bot, Slack, Discord Bot, Facebook Messenger, Email (SMTP), Twilio SMS, Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365 and Verimor SMS.
Does it need İYS consent?
Partly. The template sends both informational and commercial messages: informational ones need no consent, commercial ones may only go to recipients whose consent is recorded in İYS. The İYS integration lets the workflow check consent.
Does the workflow wait for my approval?
This template has no approval step; once activated, the steps run automatically. You can add a Request approval node in the editor wherever you want to check things first.
How much does a run cost?
The template comes with a budget cap of $0.1 per run; when the cap is reached, the remaining steps don't run. The real cost depends on the model you choose and the number of items; you change the cap under Settings.
Can I use the template before connecting the accounts?
Yes. The workflow is still created; the affected node shows a warning during validation, and the warning disappears once you connect the account.
