What it does in OrqLabs
İYS (İleti Yönetim Sistemi) is Turkey's national registry of consent for commercial electronic messages. Under Law No. 6563, consent must be recorded in İYS before you send commercial texts, calls or emails to consumers; merchants can be contacted unless they have an opt-out on record.
The İYS node offers two operations: Add consent records a recipient's opt-in or opt-out in İYS with the channel (MESAJ, ARAMA, EPOSTA), recipient type and source (e.g. HS_WEB); Check consent returns the current status and whether you may send. Phone numbers are converted to +905XXXXXXXXX.
While it's connected, SMS (Netgsm, İleti Merkezi, Verimor, Twilio), WhatsApp and email campaigns query İYS before each batch; recipients without consent are skipped with the reason "İYS onayı yok". If İYS can't be reached, the campaign is paused so nothing goes out without a consent check.

Setup at a glance
Create an API user under Integration in the İYS panel.
In OrqLabs, go to Integrations → İYS → Connect and enter the username, password, İYS number and brand code.
Choose whether to check campaigns and the recipient type (individual or merchant); use the sandbox environment for testing.
Use Test connection to confirm a token is issued and the brand code is right.
Add İYS → Check consent to a workflow and try it with your own number.

Good to know
- For new consent records, the consent date can be at most 3 days in the past (an İYS rule).
- The check is set per integration; turning it off disables it for every campaign.
- OrqLabs' check doesn't remove your legal responsibility; the sender decides whether content is commercial.
Frequently asked questions
Do campaigns stop working without İYS connected?
No. The check only runs while the İYS integration is connected; your SMS provider's own İYS filter still applies to commercial sends.
Do merchants need to opt in too?
No. With the merchant recipient type, only recipients with an opt-out on record in İYS are skipped.
What if İYS can't be reached?
The campaign is paused and you get a notification; resume it once the issue is fixed. Nothing is sent without a consent check.
