What it does in OrqLabs
The Klaviyo integration connects OrqLabs' Newsletter module to your own Klaviyo account. Confirmed subscribers join the list with email marketing consent through Klaviyo's bulk subscription job, with first and last name written to the profile. Profiles that unsubscribed or are suppressed in Klaviyo are looked up first and never resubscribed.
When you send, the HTML is saved as a Klaviyo template, a campaign targeting the list is created and a single send job is started. Because Klaviyo processes subscriptions in the background, OrqLabs creates the campaign a few minutes after the sync. Recipients, deliveries, opens, clicks, unsubscribes and bounces come from Klaviyo's campaign report.
In workflows, the Klaviyo node subscribes a profile to a list, creates or updates a profile, records a custom event (metric) and withdraws consent. For example, send a Requested demo event after a demo request to run a Klaviyo flow that starts with that event.

Setup at a glance
In Klaviyo, create a key named
OrqLabswith the needed scopes under Settings → API keys → Create Private API Key.In OrqLabs, go to Integrations → Klaviyo → Connect, pick the project and paste the
pk_…key.In the card's details panel, under Newsletter defaults, save the list and an optional from address, from name and reply-to.
On Newsletter → Lists, set the list's sending account to this Klaviyo connection.
Requirements
- A Klaviyo account and at least one list (Audience → Lists & segments).
- A private API key starting with
pk_, scoped to Lists, Profiles, Subscriptions, Campaigns, Templates, Events, Metrics and Accounts. - A verified sender and default sender in Klaviyo; a single opt-in list is recommended because OrqLabs already collects double opt-in.

Good to know
- If the list uses double opt-in, Klaviyo sends its own confirmation email and the person won't get the campaign until they confirm.
- Klaviyo's reporting endpoint allows 2 requests a minute and 225 a day, so refresh stats only when you need them.
- There are no Klaviyo triggers; Klaviyo webhooks require a separate app or an advanced plan.

Which key should I use?
The private API key starting with pk_. The six-character public key (site ID) doesn't work with the server API; see the Klaviyo guide.
Is someone who unsubscribed in Klaviyo added back?
No. OrqLabs checks each profile's consent before every sync, and unsubscribed or suppressed profiles are skipped.
Why isn't the campaign created right away?
Klaviyo processes subscriptions in the background, so OrqLabs creates the campaign a few minutes after the sync, once subscribers are on the list.
