Microsoft Teams integration: approvals and reports in your channel
Enter the webhook URL you create with Workflows in a Teams channel. Workflows post cards with a title, text and a button to the channel, and the Notify team node sends approval and report alerts to Teams too.

What it does in OrqLabs
OrqLabs writes to Microsoft Teams through an incoming webhook URL created with the channel's Workflows app (the "Post to a channel when a webhook request is received" template). No app registration, admin consent or OAuth is needed – the URL is enough. Connecting never posts a test message; OrqLabs only checks that the URL is a Microsoft Workflows address.
The Microsoft Teams node sends one Adaptive Card per item: a bold title, text in the basic markdown Teams supports and an optional link button. Use it to announce a new lead, a published post or a failed workflow in the channel your team already lives in.
Pick Microsoft Teams as a channel in the Notify team node and the title and body become a card, while the link becomes a button that opens the matching page in the OrqLabs panel. Content awaiting approval, finished reports or budget alerts reach Teams this way; if a post fails, the workflow keeps going and the run log shows a warning.
What you can automate
Approval announcements
Add Notify team (Teams) before Request approval; your team sees the post text in the channel and the button takes them to the approval page.
Hot-lead alerts
When the Lead Qualifier gives a high score, the Teams node posts a card with the name, company and score.
Weekly report digest
When the Report Writer's weekly summary is ready, a short digest and the report link land in the Teams channel.
Publish and failure notices
The channel hears about every published post or failed workflow, so nobody has to keep checking the panel.
Nodes that use this integration
In the workflow editor these nodes run with your Microsoft Teams account.

Setup at a glance
In Teams, open ⋯ → Workflows next to the channel.
Choose Post to a channel when a webhook request is received and confirm the team and channel.
Copy the generated webhook URL including its signature (
sig=).In OrqLabs, go to Integrations → Microsoft Teams → Connect, pick the project and paste the URL.
Use the Microsoft Teams node, or the Microsoft Teams channel of the Notify team node, in a workflow.
Requirements
- A Microsoft 365 account and membership in the team that receives the messages.
- The Teams Workflows (Power Automate) app enabled in your organization.
- A standard or shared channel; the Workflows bot may not post to private channels yet.
What you enter when connecting
- Incoming webhook URL *
Good to know
- The connection is one-way: OrqLabs posts to the channel, it doesn't read Teams messages or send direct messages.
- A message can be up to 28 KB, and each webhook accepts about 4 requests per second.
- The Workflows flow belongs to the person who created it; add a co-owner so it keeps running if they leave.
Frequently asked questions
Does Teams need admin consent or an app registration?
No. The webhook URL created with Workflows in the channel is enough; the Workflows app just has to be enabled in your organization.
Is a test message posted when I connect?
No. OrqLabs only checks that the URL is a Microsoft Workflows address; the first message is sent when your workflow runs.
Can I post to more than one channel?
Yes. Create a webhook URL per channel, add a Microsoft Teams connection for each and choose the connection in the node.
Does my old Office 365 connector URL still work?
webhook.office.com URLs are accepted, but Microsoft is retiring those connectors; use a Workflows URL for new setups.
