Resend integration: outreach and campaign email through an email API
Connect Resend with an API key and a verified sender address so agent, workflow and campaign emails go out without an SMTP server to manage. An optional webhook feeds delivery, open and bounce events into your campaign stats.

What it does in OrqLabs
Resend is a developer-focused email sending service. In OrqLabs you fill in two fields: the API key starting with re_ and a sender address on your verified domain. Test connection checks the key and lists the domains on your account with their verification status.
The connection works wherever SMTP does: the Send email node, the Broadcast node and the Outreach Agent on the email channel. If a project has both SMTP and Resend connected, you can choose which account a node uses.
Point Resend's webhook at OrqLabs and the email.delivered, email.opened, email.bounced and email.complained events update the status of each sent message and your campaign stats; bounced and complained addresses are marked as failed.
What you can automate
Outreach email
The Outreach Agent sends the personalised first email and follow-ups through Resend; the sender name and address come from the integration.
Campaigns with delivery tracking
Send a campaign to a lead segment with the Broadcast node; with the webhook in place, delivered, opened and bounced statuses show up in the campaign's progress.
Transactional email
Send an instant notification with the Send email node when a form is submitted, an offer is approved or a new lead comes in.
Agents that work with it
Nodes that use this integration
In the workflow editor these nodes run with your Resend account.
Send email
Sends an email to one person from your connected account (SMTP or Resend), e.g. a thank-you email to someone who filled in your form.
Broadcast campaign
Sends a personalised message to a group of leads at a controlled pace, e.g. announcing a webinar to qualified leads.
Setup at a glance
In Resend, add your domain under Domains → Add Domain and create the DKIM, SPF (MX and TXT) and recommended DMARC records it shows.
Once the records propagate, verify the domain with Verify DNS Records – this can take from a few minutes up to 48 hours.
Create a key with Sending access under API Keys → Create API Key; it's shown only once.
In OrqLabs, go to Integrations → Resend → Connect, pick the project and enter the API key and From address (
Brand <hello@mail.yourbrand.com>).Optional: under Webhooks → Add Webhook in Resend, add
https://api.orqlabs.com/api/v1/webhooks/resend/<account id>and select the delivery, open and bounce events.
Requirements
- A Resend account and access to the DNS of the domain you'll send from.
- A verified domain in Resend; a subdomain such as
mail.yourbrand.comis recommended for outreach. - An API key with Sending access only, ideally restricted to that one domain.
- A Resend plan that fits your volume – according to our guide, the free plan is limited to 100 emails a day and 3,000 a month.

Good to know
- Resend only covers outgoing email and delivery events; lead replies don't come into OrqLabs and leads aren't moved to “Replied” automatically.
- Until your domain is verified, Resend only lets you send test emails to your own address.
- Sending rate and daily quota depend on your Resend plan.
Frequently asked questions
Why Resend instead of SMTP?
There's no server to manage, setup is an API key plus DNS records, and delivery, open and bounce events come back by webhook. If you want to send from an existing mailbox, SMTP is the better fit.
Can I start on Resend's free plan?
Yes, it's enough for testing; according to our guide, the free plan is limited to 100 emails a day. Regular outreach and campaigns need a paid plan.
Where do delivery and open events show up?
If you point Resend's webhook at OrqLabs, delivery and open events update each sent message's status and your campaign stats; bounced addresses are marked as failed.
Do replies come into OrqLabs?
No. The Resend integration covers sending and delivery events; lead replies go to your sender address's mailbox.
