Netgsm integration: İYS-filtered SMS campaigns and notification texts

Add SMS to OrqLabs with your Netgsm user code, API password and approved sender header. Campaigns go to lead segments at a controlled rate, commercial texts are sent with the İYS filter and delivery reports update each message.

What it does in OrqLabs

The Netgsm integration uses Netgsm's REST v2 API. You enter your user code, the password of a user with API access and your approved sender header; Test connection lists the approved headers on the account and checks that yours is one of them. Numbers are converted to 905XXXXXXXXX automatically.

The İYS mode decides which messages go out as commercial: by default campaign messages use the İYS filter for consumers (iysfilter=11) while one-off notifications go out as informational. You can pick 12 for merchant (B2B) sends, or an unfiltered mode for accounts that only send notifications.

Delivery reports are queried from Netgsm every 5 minutes, so messages and campaign stats become delivered or failed with a reason (İYS rejection, blacklist, expiry). With the İYS integration connected, recipients without consent are left out of campaigns entirely.

    Send personalised texts – with fields such as name and company – to a segment of leads who have a phone number and haven't opted out; messages are queued at 20 per minute by default.

  • Order and appointment notices

    Pick the SMS – Netgsm channel in the Send message node to send order, shipping or appointment reminders one by one.

  • Delivery tracking

    Each text keeps its Netgsm job id; as delivery reports arrive, the message and campaign statuses are updated.

Setup at a glance

  1. In the Netgsm panel, note the user code and password of the user with API access and copy your approved header.

  2. In OrqLabs, go to Integrations → Netgsm SMS → Connect, enter the user code, password and header, and pick the İYS mode.

  3. Use Test connection to confirm your header is approved.

  4. Send a test text to your own number with the Send message node (channel SMS – Netgsm).

Requirements

  • A Netgsm subscription, an SMS package and a user with API access.
  • An approved sender header (sender name) on Netgsm.
  • For commercial texts, an İYS brand set up on your Netgsm account – and consent recorded in İYS for commercial messages to consumers (Turkish Law No. 6563).

Good to know

  • This integration is one-way: texts sent with an alphanumeric header can't be replied to, and incoming SMS don't reach the Inbox.
  • Delivery reports are polled every 5 minutes, not in real time.
  • Netgsm charges SMS fees directly to your own account.

Frequently asked questions

Why do campaign texts fail with "İYS rejection"?

For commercial sends, Netgsm doesn't deliver to numbers without consent in İYS. Record the recipient's consent in İYS or remove them from the campaign.

Are notifications and OTP texts filtered by İYS too?

Not in the default İYS mode: one-off messages go out as informational, and only campaign messages count as commercial.

Can I use it alongside Twilio?

Yes. With the SMS channel one of your connected SMS accounts is used; choose SMS – Netgsm to always use Netgsm.
