Pinterest integration: pin automation and scheduling
OrqLabs automates pin creation on the boards of your Pinterest business account. The Content Creator writes keyword-rich titles and descriptions, an image is generated, and the Social Publisher schedules the pin; impressions, saves and clicks flow into your reports.

What it does in OrqLabs
Pinterest pin automation rests on three parts: a board, an image (or a video with a cover image) and the destination link the pin points to. When you connect, OrqLabs reads your boards and makes the first one the default board; the card shows its name and pins go there.
Besides single-image pins, you can create pins with up to 5 images and video pins with a cover image. In the Publish post node, the text becomes the pin description, the Title field the pin title and the Destination link field the pin's URL. Scheduled pins wait in the OrqLabs publishing queue and are created on time after approval.
For Pinterest, the Content Creator writes a keyword-rich title of up to 100 characters and a description of up to 500 characters, and adds an image description to every post. When you approve a Pinterest draft without an image in the panel, a square image is generated from that description. Impressions, saves, clicks and video views flow into your reports.
What you can automate
Product and blog pins
The Content Creator writes the pin title, description and image description from your product page or blog post; you set that page as the destination link.
Pin flow with image generation
The Generate image node creates the pin image from the image description; after the approval step, the Publish post node attaches that image automatically and sends the pin to your board.
Pin performance tracking
The Get post metrics node reads impressions, saves, pin clicks and outbound clicks; the Report Writer summarizes which pins send traffic to your site in a weekly report.
From Instagram visual to Pinterest pin
For the same campaign the Content Creator writes separate Instagram and Pinterest versions, and two Publish post nodes send the same image to both platforms.

Sign in with your business account on Pinterest's authorization screen and click Give access.
The card shows Connected with the default board's name; pins are created on that board.
Use Test connection to confirm the username, then create a first test pin and check it on the board.

Good to know
- Every pin needs a board and an image, and you should add a destination link to each pin, since that is what sends clicks to your site. Pins go to the board set as default at connection; there is no per-pin board choice in the panel.
- Pinterest comments are not read or answered, so the Community Manager does not use Pinterest.
- While the Pinterest app has Trial access, only accounts associated with the app owner can connect; other businesses' accounts require Pinterest's Standard access approval.
- Adding the same image to many boards in a short time can get the account restricted, and pin analytics arrive with a 24–48 hour delay.

Frequently asked questions
Can I connect a personal Pinterest account?
No. A business account is required; converting is free.
Do pins need a link?
The destination link is what sends pin traffic to your site, so add your product or blog page URL in the Destination link field of the Publish post node or in the post's link field in the Content editor.
Which board do pins go to?
To the board set as default when you connected. The card shows its name.
Can OrqLabs create the pin image?
Yes. The Content Creator writes an image description for each pin, and the Generate image node or the panel's image generation turns it into an image.
