What it does in OrqLabs

OrqLabs connects to Bluesky over the AT Protocol with an app password you create. You never enter your main password; an app password can't change account settings and can be revoked from Bluesky in one click. In the content calendar, the Publish post node and the Social Publisher agent, Bluesky is picked like any other social network.

Posts carry text and up to four images. Links, @handle.bsky.social mentions and #hashtags in the text are made clickable automatically. Text over 300 characters is split at natural breaks and published as a reply thread under the first post, while the Content Creator writes Bluesky drafts within the 300-character limit from the start.

After publishing, likes, replies, reposts and quotes of your recent posts show up on content cards and in analytics. Your follower and post counts sync daily, so creators' media kits and link-in-bio pages stay current. Reads go through Bluesky's public API, so they never spend your account's session quota.

What you can automate

  • Publish from the calendar

Posts set to Bluesky in the content calendar go live at their planned time after approval, with clickable links and tags.

  • Bluesky-ready drafts

The Content Creator turns the same topic into a Bluesky post under 300 characters, with at most two hashtags and optional images.

  • Reuse from other networks

Turn an idea prepared for X or Threads into a Bluesky post in the same workflow and schedule them together.

  • Engagement and follower tracking

Likes, replies and reposts appear on content cards; your follower count syncs daily and feeds your media kit.

Frequently asked questions

Should I connect Bluesky with my main password?

No, use an app password. It can't access your account settings and you can revoke it from Bluesky settings at any time.

What happens to text over 300 characters?

It's split at sentence and paragraph breaks; the first part becomes the post and the rest is published as a reply thread beneath it.

Can Bluesky posts be scheduled?

Yes. Bluesky has no native scheduling, so OrqLabs publishes the post itself at the time set in the content calendar.

My handle is my own domain – does it work?

Yes. Just enter your domain (e.g. brand.com) as the handle.
