Automated weekly marketing report, written for humans
Report Writer collects everything your agents and marketing channels produced over the period and turns it into a digest a busy person will actually read: a headline, highlights with numbers, results by channel and next steps with owners.

What the agent does
For an automated weekly marketing report, the agent reads in parallel: agent activity in the period (runs, successes and failures, cost, notable reports), the Google Analytics summary, post performance for the strategy's channels, campaign statistics and leads in the Qualified, Contacted, Replied, Meeting and Converted states.
Every number is compared with the previous period or with the target in your strategy document, and when no comparison exists the report says so. The structure is fixed: a one-sentence headline, 3–6 highlights with numbers, traffic and conversions, social media, leads and outreach, chatbot and community, what the agents did (runs and cost), and next steps with an owner and a date.
Analyzing data and changing strategy is Analytics Strategist's job; Report Writer tells what happened and sets priorities. The report is saved on the Reports page as a Weekly digest and announced to you in a short notification; add a Notify team step to your workflow to send it by email or Slack.
Inputs / Outputs
Inputs
- Report period
- Last 7 days (default) or last 30 days. A 30-day report is more complete but costs roughly twice as much.
- Who is it for?
- Business owner (default): outcomes first, plain language, no jargon, up to 500 words. Marketing team: tactical detail, tables per channel and what to change in execution, up to 900 words.
Outputs
- report
- The report: title, the full digest in Markdown, 3–6 highlights, a list of next steps and key numbers for the stat tiles (with change in percent where available).
Saves a report to the Reports page on every run: Weekly digest.

Example tasks
- “Write last week's summary for the business owner: at most 250 words, the 5 most important numbers and 3 things to do this week.”
- “Prepare a detailed 30-day report for the marketing team; give each agent's work and cost under its own heading.”
- “In our clinic's weekly report, focus on new patient leads and WhatsApp conversations; cover social media in one sentence.”
- “Write the weekly report for our client; don't mention OrqLabs, say “our team”.”
Tips for good results
- Set a length limit: “At most 250 words, 5 numbers, 3 actions.”
- Say what to focus on: “Focus on leads; cover social media in one sentence.”
- Agencies can create a separate saved Report Writer per client project and put branding rules in Additional instructions.
- To get it every Monday, build a workflow with a schedule trigger and forward the report by email or Slack with a Notify team step.
Model advice
Default model
Claude Sonnet 5
Per 1M tokens: $2 input · $10 output
Economy model
Claude Haiku 4.5
Per 1M tokens: $1 input · $5 output
The default balanced model is a good balance for comparing numbers from many sources accurately and writing a fluent digest. For short weekly summaries aimed at a business owner, the economy model is usually enough. Stay on the balanced model for detailed team reports or client-facing reports where wording matters.
Frequently asked questions
Will the report arrive automatically every week?
Yes, if you set up a workflow with a schedule trigger. The report is saved on the Reports page and you get a notification; add a Notify team step for email or Slack.
How is it different from Analytics Strategist?
Analytics Strategist analyzes the data and proposes strategy changes. Report Writer tells what happened, sets priorities and lists next steps; it never touches the strategy.
Can I send the report to my client?
Yes. Put your branding rules (for example “say our team”) in the saved agent's Additional instructions to get client-ready reports.
Which accounts do I need?
None are required. Every connected data source is included, and for sources that aren't connected the report notes that no comparison is available.
